About Us

Hi.  We are Jenn and Adam.  From autumn 2013 to summer 2014 we traveled from Ontario to Buenos Aires, Argentina on two Suzuki DR650 motorcycles under the banner of “Trans-Continental Mambo”.  We spent approximately nine months outside of Canada.

In 2011 Jenn caught the travel bug, perhaps inspired by Adam’s solo travels from Toronto to Buenos Aires over the course of three months in 2010, as well as having spent much of her career in the photography world exposed to mountains of photographic imagery of distant and and romantic travel imagery.

Having suggested to Adam that we take a “career break” and ride motorcycles through Africa, Adam suggested that they “start off” in Latin America and then continue on to Africa.  To date, “Trans-Continental Mambo” (somewhat ironically) was strictly a Latin American adventure, and Africa is still an unfulfilled dream.

Our journey took us through the United States, Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Argentina.
