(AT) Replaced tires with Metezler (Brazil) Karoo 2 (T) 90/90-21 front and Metezler (Brazil) Enduro 3 Sahara rear (130/80-17). 23268km. Lima, Peru. 23268KM on front Avon Gripster 2/3 done. 10126 on Kenda K761 rear tire. 2/3 done. 13142 on Avon Gripster rear 3/4 done.
Also put on 15 tooth Sprocket.
(JP) Replaced tires with Metezler (Brazil) Karoo 2 (T) 90/90-21 front and Metezler (Brazil) Enduro 3 Sahara rear (130/80-17). 22283km. Lima, Peru. 2283km on Avon Gripster set. Front had a lot of life. Rear was 4/5 done.
Also put on 15 tooth Sprocket.

(AT) Cleaned air filter, cleaned up brake calipers and replaced front brake pads with Galfer Kevlar pads. Lightly file areas which we believe to be attribute to sticking. Will monitor. Also addressed electrical issue. It seems that the ground for my accessories was never attached to battery (strange that this lasted t6 months). 27911km, Huacachina, Peru.

(AT) New Galfer Kevlar pads are still sticking. Filed more material off areas that seem to be binding. Wheel seems to spin much more freely now. Will continue monitor. Also changed back to 14 tooth sprocket for Andes. 28074km, Nazca, Peru.

(AT) Front brake fade outside of Mallasa. Front rotor was very hot. Caliper body didn’t seem overly hot. Galfer Green Kevlar pads looked like they were deteriorating – some small pits of kevlar fiber visible, kevlar dust on calipers. Replaced with use OEM pads. 29536km, Mallasa, La Paz, Peru.
